- Take 500 g of ground beef, shape them (patties may be refrigerated for more cohesiveness and bring them to room temperature before grilling) and season it with salt just before grilling. If looking for something a bit more sophisticated then add to the ground beef, 1 egg yolk, some red chili flakes, half tsp of salt, 1 tsp powdered red chili and black pepper, 1 tsp fresh garlic and ginger paste, some chopped mint or cilantro, half tsp vinegar and mix to combine.
- Next make some patties out of it, make sure not to tightly pack them together; then place them on a preheated grill (cover them if possible) with slight olive oil for around 5 minutes on both sides, along with desired cheese at the end. Also brush the patties with butter while cooking. Make sure the internal temperature of ground beef reaches about 160o F, and clean your raw meat utensils afterwards.
- After that, saute some sliced onions to a light brown shade, or keep them raw, freshly sliced.
Grill
Finally brush some butter onto the buns and grill them slightly, if desired. Now layer with sauce, patties and fresh lettuce, iceberg, tomato, olives, etc.
Sauce:
In a bowl take 100 g of mayonnaise, add 50 g of tomato puree, some chopped pickles, 1 tbsp vinegar, salt to taste, sliced olives and mix.
